June Updates

Hello All! I always hope that I have some actual bit of news to report but nothing too exciting yet... Just felt like posting an update. As of today, Friday, June 8th, plans are still not 100% fixed but D.C. is looking like the most likely option still. I've been applying for jobs like crazy and if something pans out for me job-wise, we'll probably head to D.C. We officially have 2 WEEKS of work left!!! I can't tell you how excited we are to relax for a little while. David's 90 hour work weeks and my 3 jobs are exhausting but at least we are really enjoying them this summer. This photo is when the mayor of Ann Arbor, John Heifje, joined the canvass in their offices. (Heifje is in the back right corner behind the girl in the teal tanktop. You can see David down at the bottom in green. Next Saturday, June 16th is Ann Arbor Rowing Club's first regatta- the Midwest Masters Sprints in Columbus, OH.
Finally, we will be leaving in 2 weeks for Isle Royale in Lake Superior! We'll have 7 days without tvs, radios, phones, beds, air-conditioning, running water, showers, etc. and we're psyched about it! For a larger version of the map to see campsites, click here. We'll be landing at Rock Harbor on the very southeast side of the island, making our way down and ending up...most likely...around Little Todd Harbor which is in the very middle northside of the Island and then heading back again. Look forward to lots of fun pictures from that adventure. Well, that's all for now...stay tuned ;)
