One of the most well-known studies on predator and prey relationships has been going on now for 5 decades on Isle Royale and it seems there are some worries this year about the effect global warming is having on the moose and wolf populations. That would certainly explain why when we were there last summer both the moose and wolf populations were at their lowest in recorded history. If you care to learn more about the study and see some magnificant photographs from the researchers, check out: http://www.isleroyalewolf.org/wolfhome/home.html
