The Dabbs came into town on August 16th and David & I had a great time hanging out with them in DC! We spent most of the day at the National Zoo. Fortunately and unfortunately, it was an absolutely gorgeous day which meant that there were tons of people at the zoo. We did get to see the pandas & flamingos (highlights). Also, every time I go to the zoo, I see something new. I had never seen the birds before- even though they're the ones closest to our house that we can hear!
