Disney World!

So a few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to go to a convention that was held in Orlando, FL. It was actually held at the Contemporary Resort at Disney, to be exact. Needless to say, I found some time to enjoy the parks while I was there :) The first day I arrived, I actually went to Epcot for the afternoon/evening and stayed at Disney's Yacht Club.

The next few nights I was there, I stayed at the Contemporary, which is where the conference was taking place. This is actually where my Dad worked many years ago!!

After the conference, I headed over to Tampa, FL (Spring Hill to be exact) to visit my Dad's Mom, Gram Ruth. We had a great visit and I was even able to have dinner with my Great Aunt & Uncle.

Finally, I just wanted to leave everyone with a quick video. As you may know, 2008 was Disney's "Year of 1 Million Dreams." As part of this, my room at the Contemporary was upgraded so I had a view of Cinderella's castle in the Magic Kingdom! Every night I could watch the fireworks show in the Magic Kingdom!
