Capitol Reflecting Pool on 10.10.10

Six days before our newest addition is due we walked down to the National Mall to snap a few photos. Fortunately, the weather cooperated beautifully, and we were able to take advantage of the Golden Hour and its exceptional lighting. Baxter, on the other hand, only mostly cooperated, as you'll see in a few photos where he decided to protest. Despite his deficit of attention, thankfully he looked his best--part of the inspiration for taking the photos came from our decision to have Baxter professionally groomed for the first time in his almost 18 month of existence. We thought that the baby might appreciate a clean dog in the house. And yes, we appreciate it, too.
