Subject: FYI - Simulated Explosion
The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments Office of Public Affairs advised that there will be a simulated explosion on Wednesday, March 25th, between 9:30am and 12:00 noon near the Key Bridge in DC that will produce a 20 to 30 foot fireball that should last approximately 2 minutes.
The potential for confusion and alarm from this event are real. Please share this information with your staff. We will keep you updated as we receive more information.
