So many updates... so little time

It has been very busy in our household lately and I feel very behind in my blog updates! A whirlwind tour:

• All the hard work paid off for David when he was chosen as Senior Articles Editor for the George Mason Law Review last month! Right before that good news, he also found out that his was one of the very few student notes chosen for publication! He is already crazy busy with his responsibilities there and getting excited for his internship this summer at Latham.

• Caroline finished her 5 week stint on grand jury at the end of February! Probably the quote she heard most often when telling folks about this experience was from Sol Wachtler, the former Chief Judge of New York State, who jokingly observed that a prosecutor could persuade a grand jury to "indict a ham sandwich."
• We were able to make it down to Atlanta for a very short visit with friends and family. We loved relaxing at home and were very grateful for the time we were able to spend with loved ones.
  
• Actually, on our trip to Atlanta, our car broke down. Long story, which I will spare you here. The story ends with David's 1995 Honda Accord in his parents' driveway, his dad donating it to charity for the tax write-off. R.I.P. '95 Accord- you were a great car until Midas brutally murdered you!

• While we were very sad to see our old car go, we were extremely fortunate to find a superb replacement- a 2005 Toyota Prius! David and I were quite pleased with our research and negotiating skillz and call this find a definite win for "Team Spouse."
