As many of you know, I've been taking some improv classes over the past few months. Last week, a friend from my classes convinced me to audition for ComedySportz at The Comedy Spot in Arlington, VA.
It was my first ever audition so I was just going to have fun and get some experience practicing with different groups.
Apparently, I did rather well! I got an offer to practice with their "Next Generation" troupe for about 2 months until I'm ready for the Mainstage! They said they think I'll be ready to start performing with them after a few months learning their games and such!
The idea of performing improv at 8/9 months pregnant is awesome. I'm hoping it will just make whatever I do funnier. :)
